MindingTheGap ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Devxstate Holdings LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, and business information when you create an account. We also collect your Google Calendar data (with your explicit authorization) to monitor job events and trigger automated messages to your clients.

We collect your clients' names and phone numbers, which you provide to us, solely for the purpose of sending appointment reminders and job notifications on your behalf.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide the MindingTheGap service — specifically to monitor your Google Calendar events and automatically send SMS and email notifications to your clients. We do not sell your data or your clients' data to any third party.

We use Twilio to deliver SMS messages, SendGrid to deliver emails, Stripe to process payments, and Anthropic's Claude API to generate message copy. Each of these services receives only the minimum data necessary to perform their function.

3. Client Data

Your clients' phone numbers and names are used solely to send appointment reminders and job notifications on your behalf. We do not contact your clients for any other purpose. By providing your clients' contact information to MindingTheGap, you confirm that you have obtained their consent to receive SMS and email notifications.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data and message logs for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, you may request deletion of your data by contacting us at the email below. Client contact data is deleted within 30 days of account cancellation.

5. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure storage. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data to the best of our ability.

6. Third-Party Services

MindingTheGap integrates with Google Calendar (Google LLC), Twilio (for SMS), SendGrid (for email), Stripe (for payments), and Anthropic (for AI-generated message copy). Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

7. Your Rights

You may access, update, or delete your account information at any time by contacting us. You may also disconnect your Google Calendar integration from within the app at any time.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
